With Christmas over and January fast approaching, you’d think that the likelihood of my wearing short sleeves would be nil.
And, granted, I did wear this outfit several days back when we had an unusually warm spell even for us.
But the weather forecast here looks a little something like this—
Today: Cold, drizzly.
Tomorrow: Sunny, high of 69.
And while I’m mostly grateful for the variety since it’s almost impossible to get bored, it’s also a bit of a pain when you’re trying to plan for a trip or condense the clothes in your closet down to one season, or, even, get dressed at all without first sticking your toe out the door to test the air.
I will now prepare myself for the hate mail from those of you who can’t get to your cars without the aid of a snow-plow.
I wasn’t really complaining. I promise.
I’ll even come help you shovel snow.
Let me go stick my toe out the door first, though.
