I love that little vintage quilted leather purse, but I debated carrying it since there were already so many pops of red in this outfit. Also, I was a bit afraid that if any bulls from the neighboring fields saw me, they might charge. If I were a true fashionista, I would probably have chosen a more neutral bag. But I’m not. Which means that if I like it, I wear it, fashion rules be darned.
And as for the bulls…well, I may be wearing three-quarter sleeves and jeans, but it was hot outside when we took these pics, and I think it would have taken me dressing up in a red devil costume and using my pitchfork on a bull’s hindquarters to upset any cattle enough to prompt a yawn, much less something that required as much effort as getting up from a nap and chasing me.
Maybe that means I should be grateful for the heat, but since we all know that everything I just wrote about the bulls is nonsense, I’ll say flat out that if Fall doesn’t get here soon in earnest (and hopefully bring some rain with it), I may just have to find myself a pitchfork to help me express my aggression at the thought of 105 degree temps in September.
